Will Mark Sanchez survive till the Bye Week?

When Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets, many people(myself included) got to thinking that Tebow may take the job from Jets struggling QB Mark Sanchez. Sanchez couldn’t afford a rough start already, but now after the release of the schedule it looks like he really needs to start hot.

The Jets open up their season against the Buffalo Bills and their dangerous defensive line, which now has All Pro Mario Williams. Week 2 gets even harder, as the Jets travel to Pittsburgh. The Jets also play San Fransisco and the Patriots before they get their bye week. Here’s their opening 8 games until their Week 9 bye week:

at Steelers
at Dolphins
at Patriots

It’s a rough start for any QB, not to mention one who struggles and has the most popular QB in the league behind him. For the record, the schedule gets a lot easier after that stretch. Sanchez better get off to a hot start though or he’s going to hear the chants of Tebow before he even makes it to the Bye week.
