Bryce Harper makes MLB debut for the Nationals

Last night, the Washington Nationals saw the future of their team on the field. With Stephen Strasburg on the mound, the Nationals started Bryce Harper in his first career game.

The 19 year old Harper has been called a “Phenom” and “The Chosen One”, but hadn’t played a major league game until last night. In his first game with the Nationals, Harper went 1-3 with a sacrifice fly in the Nationals 10th inning loss to the Dodgers.

Harper didn’t shy away from the big lights in his debut in Los Angeles, and he will make another start tonight.
