An Update on the Drake-Chris Brown altercation: Injured club-goers suing

After we first talked about the Drake-Chris Brown altercation a couple of days ago, a lot has changed. Now Meek Mill, who was rumored to have started it, has given his opinion.

After the initial reports about the fight, then rumors started going around that Meek Mill had started it. He’s denying that report and saying that neither Drake or Chris Brown started it.

“Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take shit to the next level.” Meek said. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of shit. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.”

Well, that ends that. For now we still don’t know why the fight started but that isn’t going to stop two women from suing.

One woman is 24-year-old Lucy Pavlovsky who was at the club with rapper Fabolous the night of the incident. She was hit in the arm with a bottle and required 12 stitches. “My plan is to sue anybody who threw a bottle, anybody who created that dangerous atmosphere,” Pavlovsky’s lawyer, Javier Solano told The New York Daily News.

The second women is a model named Ingrid Gutierrez. Her lawyer said, “A lawsuit will be filed against the club and every person who threw bottles and class, injuring my client.”

W.i.P, the club where the fight took place, is also suffering. The club has been closed for 253 days due to code violations that were observed in an investigation done after the fight. The owners of the club have also been fined $45,000.
